If you’ve been following our journey, then you’ll know that all of this started with Kane and I doing everything within the company. This was fine for a while, until we grew to a point where there quite literally wasn’t enough hours in the day! We needed to expand to keep aligned with our faster than expected growth.
Enter the Social Media Team.
The team has always been part of our plans, we just didn’t realise we’d need to start building it so early. The role of the team is to expertly manage the social media of our clients. This will allow Kane and I to focus on the day to day running of the business. So, a couple of months ago we put out some adverts and had over 100 people apply for the role. Due to the final two being so close, and the unexpected increase in our client base during the interview process – we decided to take on two people. They are brilliant – and here they are:
Katie is a recent Marketing graduate (with first class honors) from the University of Portsmouth. She has immediately had a positive impact on the company, implementing her marketing expertise and delivering results for her clients in the first month.
Becky is in her final year of a Marketing degree, also at the University of Portsmouth. She has built fantastic relationships with her clients and is developing her already brilliant knowledge of social media on a daily basis.
We are over the moon to have the two of them on our team, and we’ve all been putting our heads together to figure out how we can improve our services and systems even more.
