What Makes Wellness Content Credible, and What Undermines It? [INFOGRAPHIC]
Social media is full of wellness content especially now, but a lot of it ends up feeling and looking the same. The wording, the imagery and the tone of voice all feel too similar across wellness brands. When it all looks the same it’s harder for brands to stand out and people won’t pay any attention as they want something different and new.
That’s where credibility comes in as it’s what separates the brands people trust from the ones they scroll past without thinking.
Why Credibility Matters
People are a lot more aware now, especially in wellness. They’re checking ingredients, researching benefits and paying more attention to who they trust. If something feels off, they don’t spend time trying to figure it out because there’s lots of other well know brands that they will go to.
When something does feel clear and believable, it lands differently. People take it in properly, remember it, and are more likely to come back to it.
Bringing It All Together
Most of it comes down to how the content feels when someone sees it. Small things like how clearly something is explained, how honest it sounds and how other people find it all make a difference. Don’t overcomplicate it, you do need to give people a reason to trust you and also remember you.
