Sprive built a smarter way to pay off a mortgage. Getting people to trust it was the harder problem.

social media agency - line breaker

Mortgages are one of the biggest decisions most people ever make, and one of the least understood.

As a team who love turning "complicated" into "clear", we saw an opportunity to make Sprive the place people turned to for answers, long before they were ready to talk to anyone about a mortgage. Here's how we did it.

The Challenge

Sprive needed to develop their social media and blog presence, with the goal of driving more traffic and awareness of the brand - growth that would, in turn, feed into app installs and wider brand awareness.

The Diagnosis

As a mortgage app, Sprive's biggest hurdle was trust. Nobody hands over information about their finances, let alone considers a mortgage product, without first believing the people behind it know what they're talking about. The bottleneck wasn't interest in the topic - it was proving expertise before anyone was ready to engage further.

What We Did

We built a content strategy around one idea: the best way to bring people to a social account or blog is to give them something genuinely valuable to read.

We began regularly creating and publishing content that educated the Sprive audience on the often complex mortgage industry, stripping out jargon and simplifying language so the information was easy to digest.

To build trust at scale, we developed a wide range of educational infographics covering statistics, guides, and practical tips across the mortgage industry - each one also connecting the dots to how the Sprive app could help. It let the brand demonstrate real expertise first, and make its case for the app second.

The content that moved the numbers

Complex mortgage topics, made simple - a library of infographics and educational content that turned a confusing industry into something Sprive's audience could actually understand and act on.

Better creative begins with a conversation.

We'll listen to what you're trying to achieve and show you what's possible.
